Xhavit Haliti, member of the Presidency of the Assembly of Kosovo, welcomed today in a meeting Mr. Thierry Reynard in Prishtina. On this occasion, it was discussed about mutual cooperation between two countries and they exchanged ideas and experiences regarding the functioning of the legislative and it was emphasized that this cooperation should continue. In this meeting it was discussed about fulfillment of standards, and also remarks were given regarding the required non-engagements in fulfilling standards and in particular in the decentralization process. Simultaneously with the issue of establishing the policy forum, it was said that this forum should unify policies of the Kosovo and the international policy subjects in order that policies that will be developed for common interest issues to have institutional force and support. Haliti emphasized that, he is ready to give his support concerning the fulfillment of standards, as well as he gave his remarks regarding the difficulties that kosovar party has in fulfilling standards, because of the lack of competences for variety issues. Main topic was also the security issue. Both parties agreed on acceleration of establishment of local mechanisms in order to fight organized crime, as well as the necessity of establishing the acting and stable partnership between locals and international.
