The President of the Assembly of Kosovo, Nexhat Daci today welcomed the Special Representative of Secretary General of UN in Kosovo, Soren Jessen-Petersen and have discussed regarding the general developments in Kosovo, respectively for the role of the extensive Forum in preparation of negotiations for the status of Kosovo.
The Forum is not a substitute but assistant of country™s institutions
The Head of UNMIK and the Head of the Assembly of Kosovo were agreed that the Forum is not a substitute but assistant of country™s institutions and since the beginning of his work has influenced on relaxing the policy reports in Kosovo.
About the dynamic of law adoption
Also was discussed about the foreseen dynamic for adoption of legislation as well as for the need of signing without delay of approved laws in the Assembly of Kosovo.
And for this was estimated with interest the better coordination between the Assembly and the Legal Office of UNMIK.
