The Special Representatives of Secretary General of the UN, Norwegian ambassador, Kai Aide, today had special meetings with Serb deputies of SLKM and with deputies of other communities (non-Serbian and non-Albanian) and got some of their opinions regarding developments in Kosovo and the level of the fulfillment of standards, especially about the freedom of movement and the realization of the rights.
The President of the Assembly of Kosovo, Nexhat Daci, today welcomed a delegation of the League of Municipal Associations of Pensioners, chaired by Iljaz Kurteshi, president, and has discussed with him regarding the irregularity status of pensioners and the very difficult position of pensioners in Kosovo.
Organized by Organization for Cooperation and Security in Europe and the Assembly of Kosovo and supported by the Stabilization Pact, today started the roundtable meeting of the Parliaments of Southeastern Europe with a topic Towards development of an effective supervision of the Government by the Parliament. The roundtable meeting was chaired by the Head of OSCE in Kosovo, Werner Wnendt and the President of the Assembly Nexhat Daci, whereas in topic Strengthening of parliaments with development of regional connections has spoken Adrian Severin, ex-president of the Parliamentary Assembly of OSCE
