The Committee on Human Rights, Gender Equality, Missing Persons and Petitions ended its study visit to Sweden
Organized and supported by the organization Save the Children in Kosovo and Save the Children in Sweden, members of the Committee on Human Rights, Gender Equality, Missing Persons and Petitions, headed by the president Lirije Kajtazi, have finished their study visit to Sweden, from 12-16th of December 2016.
Part of this study visit were also the representatives from: Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, Save the Children in Kosovo as well as representatives from the civil society.
The main theme of this study visit was the Swedish system of organization and functioning in the field of defense, treatment of children and their rights.
Delegation from the Republic of Kosovo has developed all the activities according to the foreseen agenda, which was pretty tight and comprehensive.
It is worth mentioning the visits to: Faculty of Law, Stockholm University, Ministry of Health and Social Affairs, main office of People's Advocate for Children, main office of Save the Children in Sweden as well as the Centre for Treatment of Abused Children "Barnafrid", in a Swedish city Linköping, declared as the best Centre in Sweden, among 30 others which exist in this country.
Delegation was welcomed by the Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo in Sweden, Mr. Ilir Dugolli, who informed us about the overall activities of our embassy and the services they offer to Kosovar citizens living in Sweden.
